About The Stay Ledger

The Stay Ledger is a small, independent site of free calculators for short-term rental hosts with 1–5 properties. It is run by one person, from Japan, for hosts everywhere.

How we test

We only write numbers we have produced ourselves. Calculator defaults come from the platforms' published fee structures, and every percentage in our calculators is editable because real fees vary. Tools we mention are tested on their free plans or trials where one exists; if a tool has no free way to try it, we say so instead of pretending.

Feedback

Spotted a wrong number, a missing fee, or want a calculator we haven't built? Open the feedback form — it goes straight to the person who runs this site.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are (or will be) affiliate links. If you sign up for a tool through one, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you; in some programs you get a discount instead. This never changes a calculator's maths, and every tool is presented with the same worked numbers whether it pays us or not. Commissions are how a free site like this one pays for itself.
